The Peace Valley Plan: terms.

What the plan includes, per household, per year

1. Malwarebytes Premium for up to 3 devices, kept active while the plan is active.
2. An app blocker on Windows computers that stops common remote-control tools from running.
3. Approval of blocked tools you need, within 1 business day, at no charge.
4. Free scam checks: send us a suspicious message, email or link and we reply within 1 business day.
5. One yearly checkup, about 45 minutes, done remotely by appointment, with a written summary.
6. Member hourly rate for any other help.

What the plan does not include

• We do not monitor your computer. Security alerts go to you. Blocked items are handled automatically.
• Repairs, installs, new device setup, training and anything not listed above are billed at the member rate.
• Business use. The plan is for household use only.
• Software you buy yourself, such as Microsoft 365, a password manager or backup. Those are between you and that company.

Rates

• Setup visit: $149, one time, required to start the plan.
• Plan: $279 per year, paid in advance.
• Member rate: $95 per hour, remote or in your home. Remote help bills in 30-minute increments with a 30-minute minimum. Home visits have a 1-hour minimum, then 30-minute increments, plus $40 travel past 20 miles.
• Without a plan: $125 per hour, same minimums.
• Pennsylvania sales tax is added where it applies. Every price we quote shows the total you will be charged.

Renewal

• The plan renews every year on your setup date and charges the card on file.
• We email you 30 days and 7 days before renewal with the amount, including tax, and how to cancel.
• Cancel any time before renewal by replying to that email, texting us, or using the cancel link.

Refunds

• Cancel within 30 days of starting: full refund of the plan fee. The setup fee is not refunded because the work is done.
• After 30 days: no refund for the rest of the year. The plan stays active until the renewal date.

When the plan ends

Malwarebytes and the app blocker are removed or expire at the end of the plan year. Your backup, password manager and Microsoft 365 are yours and keep working.

Your data

• We only access your computer when you approve a session, or to apply a blocked-tool approval you requested.
• You are responsible for keeping a backup. We set one up and test it once a year, but we are not responsible for data that was never backed up.
• We never ask for your passwords. We will never call you first.
